Led the painting group on an outing in Pescadero today. Big group attending. This group is developing well and it's turning out to be a very good thing for me, because I get out and paint without waiting 3 years for the next vacation.
I found this little scene at the end of the main street. The old IDES facility was pretty typical coastal architecture.
It started out as a simple pen sketch, which I liked. Could have left it that way too. But decided to add color pens, pencil and watercolor wash anyway. Fine, but different.
Very odd that the perspective has some distortions, because that was the way my "eye" obviously "saw" it, sort of like it was through a wide angle camera lens.
